Why IdeasOut exists.

In Mark's words
I've spent 20 years studying how ideas become impact.
For 35 years I've been part of the TED community. For nearly 20 of those, I've organized TEDx Santa Barbara, and the question at the heart of every great talk has been the same one: how does an idea become impact. What separates the thinker whose work travels from the thinker whose work stays trapped in notes, half-written drafts, and unfinished decks.
Twenty-two years ago, I co-founded introNetworks, the patented platform behind TEDConnect and hundreds of enterprise-level communities. We were building the connective tissue between people with ideas. But the pattern that kept showing up underneath the connections was different. Smart people had thinking they could not consistently get out of their heads at the cadence and quality their work deserved. The infrastructure to do that did not exist.
IdeasOut is what 20 years of studying Ideas to Impact looks like when you turn it into a working platform. Coastal Intelligence is where Mike Wald, Jim Sterne, and I sit with leaders trying to understand AI. IdeasOut is what they use when they are ready to build with it.
